Description
ConectaR 2019 aims at creating a wide forum for practitioners of the R language for statistical computing and data visualization from industry , academia , citizen science and open science in Latinamerica.We expect to welcome 150 participants from different countries in Latin America for 3 days of conferences and workshops focused on the use and application of the R language . We aim at fostering the R community in Latin America and increase opportunities for learning and employment .
Organizers: ConectaR 2019 is organized by the University of Costa Rica, ixpantia and Bioversity International . The event is endorsed by the R - Foundation and counts on the support of the School of Statistics and the Development Observatory and the Center for Pure and Applied Mathematics .
