Code autocompletion

Hi, I am just starting with RStudio and I have a very basic question, please your help.

I want to enable the autocompletion code. When I am typing in the CONSOLE, it happens automatically, however, when writting in the code area (the one where you have numbers for each row), no one suggestion appears. I already went to Tools->Global Options->Code->Completion and set the field "Show code completions" to Automatically. But nothing happens. Any suggesiton?

At the bottom of the Completion tab, what are you completion Delay settings?

For reference, I believe these are the default settings.
