Closing RStudio with "Source on Save"checked --> corrupted PDFs

Hi

whenever I quit / close RStudio with a script open that has "Source on save" checked at least one of the generated PDF-files (pdf(....) ... dev.off()) get corrupted!?
PDF-files are linked in Adobe-Illustrator files.

If I reopen the Project and re-run the file the PDFs are generated normally and the Program can be closed without corrupted PDFs.

I'm always using the lates daylies for macOS.
This behaviour is there for a long time....
