chi-square test to compare if a variant significantly appears in different populations

I have 44 different populations with number of people with C and T alleles and CC, CT and TT genotypes. Is it possible to use all this to do one chi-square for alleles and one for genotypes to find the populations that varies the most in each topic? How to do this in R?

ex of the data i have:

pop| C | T | CC | CT | TT
P1 | 975 | 231 | 393 | 171 | 30
P2 | 168 | 30 | 71 | 26 | 2
P3 | 172 | 26 | 76 | 20 | 3
P4 | 134 | 36 | 52 | 30 | 3
