Characters typing in wrong place

When I type anywhere in my script, it types 10/15 characters backwards.
For example:

If I tried to delete the word “test” in this line

‘#here we will conduct this test’

And I backspace on the word "test" with my cursor directly in front of it, it will delete the word “will” instead.

I have tried to delete, reinstall, clear the cache and nothing seems to resolve the issue.
