We've created an Rmardown template for our custom Bookdown style. So we can get a template document in RStudio through File > New File > R Markdown > From Template. Then you enter the Name of the project. This results in a Name/Name.Rmd file. Is it possible to get Name/index.Rmd instead?
You'll need to manually rename either the folder or the file. When I use a bookdown template, I name it index, then rename the folder whatever I want:
I known I can rename it manually. However, that is IMHO not very user friendly.
