Hi Kyle,
The plans have not changed and you should be able to deploy from a private repo. I'll send you an email for us look at more closely.
Best,
Alex
Thanks Alex! Yeah it's odd - when I look at my plan from the Admin panel, it says private repo deployment is not included:
But, I have been able to publish from private repos in the past (for example, I have a live app in a private repo, I just can't update it)
Hi Kyle,
I just emailed you, but will share here as well.
The team found the issue, made a fix, and now everything should work as expected. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
Best,
Alex
Hi,
I am beginning to use Posit Connect services. I upgraded to a Basic plan to be able to publish from a private GitHub repo.
I made the repo private just before upgrading to basic plan. It no longer appears in the list of repos when I click on Publish. Only the public repos are listed.
Note that I upgraded to the basic plan an hour or 2 ago.
How to fix this issue?
Thank you
Hello,
At the initial time of installation, you can either select (1) All repositories or (2) Only select repositories. My guess is that you explicitly need to give the GitHub app permissions for the private repo: GitHub App Installation – Posit Connect Cloud Documentation
Hi Alex,
Thank you for the hint. It worked after the GitHub App access to the target repo.
