Can't downgrade my ShinyApps.io account to free level

Hi All,

I use the shinyapps.io platform to deploy several apps seasonally, and pay for the "Standard" plan during the season when I need access to the user authentication feature. I prefer not to pay for this during the off-season, and so normally downgrade it. I'm currently ready to downgrade it, however when I click downgrade to the free plan, it gives me the following error:

"Unable to change subscription type. You have exceeded the maximum number of applications allowed for the 'free' subscription type."

Can anyone advise why this is the case, and if there is a way to downgrade without losing accessing to my loaded apps?

Thanks in advance!

That seems fairly self-explanatory - on the free tier you can only have 5 apps, so can't downgrade until you have 5 or less apps deployed. If you have more than that at the moment, you need to archive them and can restore them again later on.

Thanks @Simon_Smart , this was correct. I also had the issue that my "sleeping" apps had user authentication enabled, and these needed to be archived before I could downgrade.
