Cannot save plots as graphics or pdfs

The most recent version of RStudio displays the choices that should be available under "Export", but simply does nothing if "Save as image" or "Save as PDF". There are several other notable glitches as well in other parts of the IDE.

Version I am running is 2024.12.0 Build 467.

What operating system? What does Tools > Global Options... > General > Graphics show as the graphics device backend? Does resetting RStudio's state help?
