I have the open source shiny server running on a Debian VM: https://shiny.psyctc.org/. I have been looking at the access.log but the IP addresses of the queries all show as "::1" and I understand that my ISP has the shiny server behind apache2 using the ProxyPass module so I think the question is can the open source shiny server use the X-Forwarded-For information to get the original client's IP address?
