Abstract: The interactive table allows users to explore the average distance of 3-point field goal attempts in NBA games, grouped by player and season. The user can filter by player, team, season, and 3-point field goal attempts per game.
As shown, the average distance that players are shooting 3s has increased over the past few years, highlighted most prominently by Trae Young (2019, 2020, 2021 seasons) and Damian Lillard (2020 and 2021 seasons).
