Allow scroll past end of document doesn't behave as expected when executing code

After checking the box Allow scroll past end of document in Global Options, the editor behaves as expected, but the second after I press Ctrl+Enter to excecute a line in a R Script, the focus moves to the last written line, removing all the space created by scrolling down. What is the point of allowing scrolling if the editor corrects this behavior when the code is executed?
