Hi there I have recently updated my ubuntu to 24 version and got rstudio-2026.06.0-242-amd64.deb installed, R version 4.6.0 (2026-04-24) and It keep eating all my memory.
I dont have such big data sets, some tables and metagenomic stuff, but mostly tables, so it's really unusual that my laptop just turnes off constantly, I have found suggestion to downgrading to 2024.12.0+ but it didnt helped at all.
I downgrading to rstudio-2024.12.1-563-amd64.deb but still rstudio can't open some rprojects and keep my laptop crashed.
I can't get new laptop with bigger ram, I have only 8 Gb.
When I checked the memory report it showed a lot of memory usage by proc filesystem.
Are there any suggestions?
