For a while now I have this problem both at my windows machine and my M1 Macbook Air. Browsing the work folder through the File pane is incredibly slow. Whether I am moving across directories or opening a file.. it just take upto a minute often. For eg see the screenshot:
I have tried everything, fresh install, making sure that R is also compatible with Apple silicon etc. Is anyone also experiencing this issue ... am I doing something wrong .. or this is a bug in recent Rstudio IDE version.
