R shiny front-end is stopping working help me

I'm afraid your explanation of the issue is very vague and I don't understand what the exact problem is. What is the purpose of this Shiny app, and what are you processing that needs to wait for a few hours (in Shiny). Are you running the app locally, or on a server? And what you mean by "mess with the back-end actions"?
