I have just been issues a brand new device with no prior installations of R or rstudio. When I try to install Rstudio, I am receiving the "RStudio is currently running. Please close it before installing a new version" error. I am using the files exactly as downloaded, and have checked for preexisting folders. Can anyone help me install Rstudio?
In case anyone else is struck with the same problem, I eventually gave up and installed via the zip file.
