Applications are invited for a fully funded Cross-Centre Research Associate in Computational Genomics in the UK Dementia Research Institute. You will lead one or more projects characterising the epigenome of midbrain cell-types for the interpretation of Parkinson’s Disease susceptibility. You will be based at the Imperial College London under the immediate guidance of Dr Alexi Nott (Nott Lab) to profile the epigenome and chromatin architecture of midbrain cell-types with additional bioinformatics supervision from, and regular residential visits to Prof Caleb Webber’s team (Cardiff University) (https://ukdri.ac.uk/team/calebwebber). You will contribute to the design and analysis of large-scale ‘omics datasets with a primary focus on analysis of the epigenome and chromatin architecture to address major research questions relevant to PD. The position is available initially for a period of 2 years, with potential for extension.
