Error when trying to install packages

Has anything worked for you? I am 48 hours into trying to debug this problem with no luck.

I am having repeated errors when trying to install all packages in the new RStudio. I have tried on Mac Monterey and Ventura, and with old and new versions of RStudio. The packages do install in base R, so I know this is an RStudio problem. This is the most stubborn error I've ever encountered. Have spent the better part of 2 days trying to install any package on RStudio. Hello, I am reasonably new to R and have been struggling to install any packages since upgrading to the latest version (4.2.1) on Thursday. I have been trying to install "remotes" but i keep getting error messages, this is true for every package i try to install, including packages i have installed in the past.
