When using Posit AI in RStudio (generally with Claude Sonnet, but also with other models) I'm seeing consistent errors when compacting a conversation. After issuing \compact I'm seeing:
That conversation could not save its previous turn. Try again after repairing it.
I've noodled around and don't see any obvious way to "repair" the conversation. The only way I've been able to continue conversations when this happens (which is nearly every time I try to compact a conversation) is to export the chat and start a new one pointing it at the previous chat transcript.
Am I missing some "repair conversation" functionality in the UI?
