BIOSZEN: an R/Shiny package for reproducible analysis and visualization of experimental biological data

Hi everyone,

I'd like to share BIOSZEN, an open-source R package and modular Shiny application designed to simplify the reproducible analysis and visualization of experimental biological data from Excel or CSV files.

BIOSZEN provides a graphical interface for researchers to perform statistical analyses, explore their data, apply quality control and normalization, and generate customizable, publication-ready scientific figures without having to build the entire workflow from scratch.

It also includes a dedicated microbial growth-curve module that automatically extracts parameters such as µMax, doubling time, lag time, ODmax, time to maximum growth, and AUC.

Installation

BIOSZEN can be installed directly from R-universe:

install.packages(
  "BIOSZEN",
  repos = c(
    "https://bioszen.r-universe.dev",
    "https://cloud.r-project.org"
  )
)

BIOSZEN::BIOSZEN()

The project is under active development, and I would really appreciate feedback from the R and Shiny community, particularly regarding usability, visualization, and potential applications in biological research.

Thanks for taking a look!
